Availability after hours

In emergency situations, providers are available after hours.

Insurance

We don’t accept direct payment from any insurance company, but we want you to receive all of the insurance reimbursement to which you are entitled. The surest way to accomplish this goal is for you to pay in full at the time of each visit, file your claim and accept your reimbursement from the carrier. If you have trouble with this, your employer or benefits manager may be able to help.
We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid and cant legally see Medicare Patients. A statement will be given to you after each visit providing diagnosis (ICD code ), CPT code and breakdown of charges for each visit. If your insurance company (or anyone else) requires further information, we will provide it promptly but only after receiving your written consent.

New patients: Please download and complete the following form(s) prior to your first visit. You can fax 301-881-9298 or mail the form to the attention of Eliska Robins, Office Manager, at Eliska@wcwcw.org

Release of Medical Records

Childcare

Because we understand the needs of mothers, we are flexible and prepared for your visit. We have set up wonderful playroom full of amazing toys for your children.  On alternate days, this area serves as a private breastfeeding or infant changing room;

Privacy

We are accustomed to meeting the needs of patients who are concerned about privacy. When requested, we provide a separate entrance and exit, avoiding the need to pass through the waiting room entirely. When necessary, home visits are arranged.

Confidentiality

We take the  confidentiality of our patients’ medical and psychiatric history and records very seriously. To that end, all of our providers and staff are trained in HIPAA compliance, but we take the extra step of keeping only written records so there is no possibility of any personal or sensitive information being disseminated accidentally. These records can be stored privately by the practitioner upon request.

We do not participate with insurance companies or Medicare so that we have no obligation to release any personal or medical information to insurance except upon the request of our patients. Even when we receive requests for information or medical records that are signed by our patients, our policy is still to contact our patient to ensure they are aware of the request and what exactly is to be released.

Emergencies

We make every effort to provide emergency care when indicated. Our  Office Manager, Eliska Robins,  is very sensitive to patients needs. “I do my best to save a few hours each week to make sure that patients in crisis are able to be seen quickly,” she says.”
